Extended Warranty Terms & Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS The Fringe to Tires Warranty covers all components and frame pieces of your new Surrey cycle against (i) manufacturer and materials defects and (ii) ordinary wear and tear. International Surrey Company will replace any component or frame part that fails free of charge for such component or frame part. Frame or component failures or defects of any kind resulting from a casualty event, collision, tearing, ripping or misuse or other intended or unintended improper use of the Surrey cycle are strictly not covered under this warranty. Labor costs are not covered under this warranty. Labor costs are your responsibility.

All warranty claims must be made to International Surrey Company in writing. Any component or frame part must be sent to International Surrey Company at 932 14th Street N, Texas City, Texas 77590 at your expense. International Surrey Company will determine in it sole and absolute discretion whether the failure or defect was due to a manufacturer or material defect or ordinary wear and tear. If International Surrey Company determines such failure or defect was due to a manufacturer or material defect or ordinary wear and tear, International Surrey Company will replace such component or frame part at no additional cost to you, other than the expense for labor (if any). If International Surrey Company determines such failure or defect was not due to a manufacturer or material defect or ordinary wear and tear, International Surrey Company will return the component or frame part to you at your cost and expense and offer a replacement part at the then current sale price.

This warranty commences on the date of purchase and extends for four (4) years from the date thereof. This warranty is not transferrable. For this warranty to become effective, this warranty must be printed, signed and dated and returned to International Surrey Company Ltd. as described below.

This warranty does not cover finishes or coatings or appearances of any kind. This warranty also specifically excludes all parts of the Hitch Hiker product, whether mechanical or electrical. This warranty exclusively and solely covers the mechanical functioning parts and components of the pedal powered Surrey cycle.

If at any point the warrantee Surrey cycle is used for any commercial purpose or as part of a rental fleet or as a complimentary service to a commercial enterprise, the Fringe to Tires Warranty is immediately null and void. Only residents of the contiguous 48 states of the United States are eligible to take advantage of the Fringe to Tires Warranty.
